This event began as a weekend camping trip for several local clubs intended for organizers to get to know each other better and has since morphed into the 3-day annual extravaganza it is today.

Featuring four performance areas, attendance at SCF has averaged about 2,500 people each year!

Expect to see a wide variety of acts on the stage, from dub and rant poets, art films, street performers, string-shredding Cape Breton fiddling, crazy bagpipes or Flamenco guitars, djembe and/or dadouk, wild electric guitars and mandolins.

The 2026 lineup includes:

  • Bobby Dove
  • Catherine MacLellan
