Calgary Stampede
Did someone say Ya-Hoo? The Calgary Stampede, July 7 – 16, is bringing local and international performers to the Coca-Cola Stage all day long for ten days straight. Check out the lineup, its absolutely crazy. Why? Because its free! Yup, pay to get into the park and then head to hear headliners like Marianas Trench, The Stumbellas, Nelly Furtado and Whitehorse. Big Valley Jamboree
Big things come from little places in Alberta. This little spot on the map of Central Alberta comes alive on the August Long week. Make your way to Camrose Alberta for the biggest country music festival on the prairies. This year the lineup is as good as it gets. Rockin’River Music Fest
Merritt BC hosts a kick-ass country festival for four days over the August Long Weekend that you will want to pack your swimsuit for. But let’s talk about the music first. Check out this lineup. Willie Nelson is on a roll and is playing at Rockin’ Riverfest as well as Big Valley so you can catch him twice along with Aaron Pritchett, Toby Keith, The Band Perry, The Washboard Union and the baritone of country, Toby Keith. Salmon Arm Roots & Blues Festival
Let’s slow it down a bit and get a little mellow…but not too much. The annual Salmon Arm Roots & Blues Festival August 17-20 will have you rockin in your lawn chair to the beats of Ricky Skaggs, Alex Cuba, Rev Robert B. Jones and The Lil Smokies.
