Treat yourself to amazing fireworks displays, incredible music, food and more on July 20, 24, and 27, 2024.
The Honda Celebration of Light competition begins promptly over English Bay at 10 p.m. each night. This is an international fireworks display by teams from around the world, which has also evolved into a cultural celebration.
Fireworks displays
Three teams representing their country perform a 25-minute fireworks display set to accompanying music. Each display will be judged on a number of things including:
There will be a separate holding area for personal watercraft such as kayakers, stand up paddlers, and row boats. This holding area is designed to allow paddlers to see the fireworks display at a safe distance and not be affected by factors such as wind, current, and power crafts.
