Smithers Midsummer Music Festival

A family-friendly festival bringing all kinds of music genres to the serene Bulkley Valley for a three-day weekend.

This family-friendly event has been happening for over 30 years. For three days, Headliner acts and local & regional performers will bring a variety of music genres to the Bulkley Valley.

There will be food and craft vendors on the festival grounds. There is also a kids area with crafts, tickle trunk tents for dress-up, face painting, t-shirt painting, a playground and more.

In addition to its headliners, Midsummer Music Festival showcases dozens of talented local and regional performers so you can discover fresh new music at the roots. 

The festival also offers exciting and entertaining activities for children - including crafts, games, and a stage that is dedicated to showcasing music for children.

Fri: 9 am - 10 pm 
Sat: 9 am - 10 pm 
Sun: 9 am - 4 pm

Weekend Pass 
Family* $185 
Adult (19+) $85 
Youth (13-18) $45
Seniors (65+) & children (12 & under) = Free

Day passes start at $50 (adult). 

Online sales are now closed, but you can still purchase a physical ticket at Mountain Eagle Books and passes will be available at the gate. The gate opens at 9am Friday.

Camping

Camping is available on site, with fees including a per vehicle fee of $30 (per entry) and $10 per person.

Volunteer
To make the festival possible, volunteers are needed. Volunteering for a minimum of 12 hours gets you a weekend pass.
