Whistler Blackcomb and Gibbons Whistler join forces this spring to present North America's premier celebration of mountain culture, the World Ski and Snowboard Festival. Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the annual WSSF brings the best snow sports, music and arts to the world stage. The reimagined 2026 format features signature snow sport competitions including The Grind, The Pipe, Mini Pipe, Rail Jams, and the legendary Slush Cup, alongside the 72-Hour Filmmaker Showdown, the Pro Photo Showcase, Intersection, free outdoor concerts in Whistler Village, and vibrant après-ski and late-night events throughout the week. Outdoor Concert Series
Who says you can't get anything for free these days? Enjoy an eclectic program of concerts throughout the week. Each day features new artists in an array of genres. Concerts are held at the WSSF main stage located in the heart of Whistler village, skier's plaza.
SNOW SPORT COMPETITIONS
WSSF showcases a variety of exciting snow sport events including The Grind, a high-energy street-style competition where skiers and snowboarders perform daring tricks on rails and urban-inspired features, The Pipe highlighting stylish tricks in halfpipe sessions, Rail Jams, and the iconic Slush Cup, a crowd favourite where participants attempt to skim across icy water in costumes.
