The 117th Annual Vermilion Fair presented by the Vermilion Agriculture Society, happens July 25-27, 2024.
Events include a parade, trade show, animal judging, pony chuckwagon and chariot races, entertainment and agricultural/horticultural displays. Each year several thousand exhibitors showcase their talents in a friendly competitive spirit.
The Vermilion Agricultural Society is a not-for-profit organization run by volunteers. Many hours of work and organization by volunteers of the society, committee members, the exhibitors and additional volunteers bring this event to fruition. The society's goals is to make the fair informative, educational and fun for families.

Parade
Thursday July 25 - 11 a.m.
Parade entries will gather at Lakeland Mall and the parade will go along Railway Avenue turning right at 49th Street, then left at 50 Avenue where it will continue until 51st Street where it will turn south returning to Railway Avenue. It will continue on this path, merging with 50th Avenue and end near the Vermilion Health Care Centre. Click here for a parade map.
Livestock Shows

The fair's livestock shows are always popular attracting many exhibitors and spectators alike. Exhibitors come from all parts of the province to compete in the shows.
Besides the competitive spirit, they also help add to the sights, sounds and smells that help to keep the Vermilion country fair true to rural roots.
This years shows include: cattle, light horse, heavy horse, sheep, chicken and goat.
