Spanning from Gibsons to Lund, the festival takes you on a tour of the coastal food scene, shining a spotlight on the artistry of local chefs, bakers, brewers, and food producers.
You will truly taste the local flavour of the Sunshine Coast in their offerings, a reflection of the region's renowned arts and culture scene.
In all, over 50 restaurants, cafes, bakeries, food trucks, tasting rooms, and specialty food shops are participating. Discover hidden gems, indulge in fresh, local flavours, and experience the welcoming hospitality that defines this region.
There are so many great options to explore!
For spice lovers, Powell River's Blue Agave Tequila Grill, try one of its signature Flavour Festival cocktails including a mango spice or a smokey pineapple margarita. While there, try a sampler of Mexican cuisine (four samples of each per order) to pair with it, like the Chile Relleno Poblano, a Mexican classic—a green chili pepper stuffed with ground beef, eggs and poblano cheese—available through the food fest,
Craft beer lovers might want to time your visit for March 1 when Tapworks Brewing Company celebrates their eighth anniversary with live music and more (timing-wise, this pairs with the Sunshine Coast Beer Festival).
Or for ocean-side views while you savour local dishes, check out Seasider Bistro + Wine Bar or the Shinglemill Pub both right by the water.
