Nightrise at the Banff Gondola on Social Media

As the Pursuit Banff Jasper Collection website describes it, Nightrise honours the magic of sacred mountains — a place of gathering since time immemorial for many, including for the Stoney Nakoda People (Îyârhe Îethka).

Connect with the summit of Sulphur Mountain (Mînî Rhuwîn) through the Four Wonders. Interact with Cosmic Ray projections on the lower terrace. Bask in shimmering light at the second floor’s Diamond Dust station. Explore Alpenglow — a digital art tribute to the mountains on the fourth floor. Then continue to the top floor patio and listen to the view with Frosted Waves.

Tickets

Tickets start at $58+gst and should be purchased ahead of time on the Pursuit Banff Jasper Collection website. 
Attraction tickets are refundable up to 48 hours in advance. 
Ages 5 & under ride for free but require a ticket.

Last ride down is 10 minutes before close

Getting there

The Banff Gondola is located at the base of Sulphur Mountain at the end of Mountain Avenue in Banff, Alberta in the heart of the Canadian Rockies.

Roam Transit local route #1 
The Banff Gondola is serviced year-round by Bow Valley Roam Public Transit. Buses run regularly, with stops along Banff Avenue. Visit the Roam Transit website for information at roamtransit.com.

Driving directions
From Banff Ave, travel south to the end, turn left after the bridge onto Spray Ave. Stay right onto Mountain Ave and follow that to the end where you will find the Banff Gondola parking lot. Please note parking at the Banff Gondola is very limited.
