There's nothing like a laugh-out-loud good time. The folks at the Nanaimo Fringe Festival will provide a constant supply, along with plenty of moans, chuckles and cheers at the event, which takes place from August 8-18, 2024.

Like most fringe festivals, the Nanamo Fringe brings acts on stage to showcase new scripts, obscure and edgy material you won't see or hear in many other venues.
Unlike most fringe festivals this one takes place on an island, in a harbour city, jammed packed with other adventures to get into by day, the hitting the assortment of plays by night (or vice versa). International and local theatre companies enter the selection lottery each year hoping to get a call to the stage.
There will be over 40 shows split between the Port Theatre (125 Front St.), Harbour City Theatre (25 Victoria Rd.) and Vancouver Island Conference Centre (80 Commercial St), all in downtown Nanaimo.
