Grande Prairie's annual Grande North Winter Festival features ice carving, DJ skate parties, live bands, horse-drawn wagon rides, crokicurl and other winter activities across the city.
Grande Prairie celebrates the beauty of winter in the north with events for all-ages, including both free and paid events, spread across the downtown core. Check individual event info below.
The three main locations for the 2025 winter festival are Bonnetts Energy Centre, Montrose Cultural Centre and Muskoseepi Park.
Bonnetts Energy Centre
Daily activities run at Bonnets from Fri-Sun, including the Ice Gardens, live DJ, world-renowned ice carvers, food and drink stations, snowball target throwing and live entertainment in The Bowes on Saturday night.
