Located on the shared, traditional territories of the Squamish Nation and Lil’wat Nation, Whistler's Canada Day celebrations begin by developing a deeper understanding of the First Peoples in the region through cultural experiences.

Some of the things you can do in Whistler over Canada Day weekend include:
Indigenous cultural experiences
Lil'Wat Nation and Squamish Nation cultural programming, including opening ceremonies with the Spo7ez performance team (via the Squamish Lil'Wat Cultural Centre).
Free outdoor concert
July 1 - Walk Off the Earth headlines Canada Day at Whistler concert
Concerts will take place at the Whistler Olympic Plaza.

Getting there: if you're in town, take advantage of the Whistler bike valet, free for select holiday weekends.
Take the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola to see the mountains, or go for a hike at Rainbow Park or Lost Lake Park.
