The small community of Wells, B.C. has always been rich in arts and culture. Artists have travelled from across the country to this little mountain town to take in the beautiful setting and get inspired. In the 1930s, people gathered to watch musical acts at the same Community Hall that many of the festival’s performances.
This three-day event with indoor and outdoor venues is designed to show visitors what Wells is all about. Enjoy the weekend viewing original art by passionate artists and get to know the local folks. Just on the doorstep of Wells are nature trails and historical sites to explore.
The ArtsWells festival features performances by musicians and performers, art workshops, child-friendly activities, and more. Enjoy a range of folk, hip-hop, electronic, world, pop, roots, jazz, country, funk and more at over 10 diverse venues throughout the town.
