Celebrate Alberta's Métis culture in this two day event taking place at Métis Crossing this June. With competitions offering cash prizes and Métis vendors and entertainment you will surely learn something about Métis culture at this festival.

Festival highlights

The highlight of this annual festival is the jigging competition, complete with live musical accompaniment. Prizes are awarded for each age category, including under 6, age 7 - 12, 13 - 17, 18 - 59 and senior (60+).

Family activities

There will be a full weekends worth of family fun to be had at the festival. More activities are yet to be announced, but you can find the most up-to-date list on the Alberta Métis Fest website.
