Shine On Summer Festival celebrates 50 years of the University of Lethbridge.

Fiat Lux is the motto inscribed on the University of Lethbridge crest – meaning “Let there be light,” so celebrating 50 years with the "Shine On” Summer Festival is fitting. Everyone is invited to this historic homecoming Sept. 1-3, 2017.  Celebrate with music, fireworks, food, rugby and golf tournaments, mixers to find lost friends and favourite faculty, plus a great big welcome home reception.

Musicians at the Shine On Summer Festival Outdoor Concert to watch for:

Were you a student at U of L around 2009? You may remember Riley Miller mixing music at dorm parties instead of studying for his graphics design courses. Fast forward to the Shine On Summer Festival and Millz Skillz will take the stage to get everyone hopping with his mix of tunes.

Corb Lund grew up in Southern Alberta, and his music rings with references to the heartache and the triumphs of living off the land. If you're from Alberta, you know the words to “The Truck Got Stuck” and will be singing along when Corb hits the stage.

Mother Mother is a 5 piece indie band from Vancouver, Canada. Enjoy catchy tunes and a high energy show that will get everyone up on their feet in no time.
